In her latest summer series, Claire Kahn recallsthebeautiful array of birds that prevail around her home amongst thepicturesque pastureland of Jacona, NM in the Pojoaque Valley. Imagining the mystery and elegance of the Heron, she scripts its color in a pattern of color and progression, amalgamating her memories into an exquisite, one-of-a-kind work of adornment.
